Local Ledger is a tool that converts bank CSV transaction files into plain text ledger format using AI.
Why Plain Text Accounting?

How It Works
Upload your bank's CSV export, and Local Ledger uses a local AI model (Ollama) to:
- Parse transaction data
- Categorize expenses intelligently
- Format entries in ledger-cli format
- Clean merchant names
Privacy First
All processing happens on my server. I will neither store nor view any of your personal data.
